In such a wide range of industries, such as quality environment, food safety, energy and information management systems there are so many sectors. It is important for an organisation to meet the stringent requirements of this system, which are certified by individual companies. In some industries, it is particularly important to receive accredited certification in order to capture new markets. Certification can be deceiving in capturing new customers in some markets. It was created to address the need for an internationally accepted that would make it simpler to recognise certification for management systems in the interests of global trade and to accept the certifications issued by entities that conduct conformity assessments on a state and federal level. This International Standard outlines a set of minimum standards for management solutions auditing (i.e., initial, surveillance, and re-certification), with the goal of ensuring a reliable assessment of conformity to the relevant certification requirements. The audit must be conducted by a qualified audit team, with sufficient resources, adhering to the specified certification process, and reporting the findings consistently.
It is designed to be used by CBs that audit and certify management systems.
